This performance is a musical inspired by the animated film Anastasia,
which was nominated for Best Original Song and Best Original Score for the 70th Academy Awards.
It is a story based on the legend of Anastasia, which is still considered a historical mystery.
In 1918, news spread that the Imperial Romanov family was killed but it was rumored that Princess Anastasia has somehow survived. At the time, numerous books on Anastasia were published around the world and this Musical ANASTASIA is inspired by this renowned story.
It is a story of Anya, who lost her memory and goes on to a journey to find her true self and her home.
The show is full of love and adventure, and can be enjoyed by all ages.
The performance at Broadway opened on April 24th, 2017 (previews from March) and continued to run for two years until March 2019. From October 2018, the Spain production has begun, followed by the US tour, and Germany from November. In September 2019 the show will open in the Netherlands.
The performance has been loved across the globe and continues to open in various countries.
And now the highly praised Broadway musical will be performed by overseas creative staff & Japanese cast!
